Being a triathlete who often times trains alone, I thought the ELM ID wristband was a great idea! It was comforting to know that my husband's phone number was right inside the pocket and easy to find, should it be needed.

Maryville High School students receive life-saving identification kits

Maryville High School students received emergency identification kits, which will help law enforcement notify their family in the event of an accident.

The Emergency Links Matter or ELM identification kits were purchased by Blount Memorial Hospital, and given to MHS, which is the hospital’s adopt-a-school partner.

I have my cell phone, they can use that can't they?

   A cell phone is important and certainly can be an option for retrieving contact information but do not rely on it solely. Objects can move, be displaced or be destroyed in a car crash. The information may be difficult to access if you have it locked or an unfamilar cell phone style.
